Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) is a joint venture of a number of studios including Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. The intent of the venture  is to establish and document voluntary specifications for an open architecture for digital cinema that ensures a uniform and high level of technical performance, reliability and quality control.

IMC supports DCI and conforms to the compliance test plan for the internally produced Digital Cinema Package (DCP) using JPEG 2000 compression. IMC IS RED READY!
